Wearing badges is a vital campus safety measure and we appreciate the cooperation of students and families in keeping our campus secure.Īny time a student misses school resulting from personal illness, illness or death in the family, quarantine, weather or road conditions making travel dangerous, or any other unusual cause acceptable to the principal, the absence will be considered excused. Lost badges may be replaced in the Student Center for $5. Students who are out of compliance and are addressed by an administrator during these checks will receive detention regardless of their current number of infractions. The administration will also conduct random badge checks in the hallways and classrooms at various times during the school day. Students who are cited three times for failure to wear a badge will receive one lunch detention, on their fourth citation they will receive two lunch detentions, and on their fifth citation, they will receive a Thursday Night Live, which is served from 4:30-6:30 pm on Thursday evenings.
